Unfortunately for George Lomax Jr, when the Day Grape Juice Co. fell into bankruptcy, the most recent forfeited deeds had been quick claim deeds so it all reverted back to him and was sold at sheriffs sale to Isaiah Hamilton and Clyde Johnson in 1923. Hamilton and Johnson had been part owners of the Grape Juice Co. of Lawton. Things are a little sketchy for the next five years concerning the property's use.
